History
After graduating from Central Saint Martins—where he was awarded the prestigious LVMH Grand Prix scholarship—fashion and textile designer Benjamin Benmoyal honed his craft at Alexander McQueen and Hermès before founding his eponymous label in 2020. Two years later, the brand was among the finalists for the renowned ANDAM prize.
Democratizing craftsmanship
From the outset, the project has been driven by a single goal: to democratize craftsmanship by designing clothing from unique, sustainable fabrics inspired by its founder's Moroccan roots.
In 2025, the company embarked on a new decisive phase: buoyed by its first round of fundraising, it seized the opportunity to completely rethink its artistic direction and adopted a new name, BENMOYAL.
A Simple Concept
The BENMOYAL aesthetic is rooted in a simple and evocative concept:
The image of a young woman who takes pieces from her grandmother's wardrobe and pairs them with her own urban essentials to create a playful, casual, and fresh silhouette.
Vintage-inspired tweed jackets, jersey sweatpants, and embroidered nylon bomber jackets respond to and clash with one another. Fitted and oversized volumes intertwine to give birth to hybrid and unique looks, imbued with a Mediterranean spirit.
The BENMOYAL woman is spontaneous, nonchalant, mischievous, and irreverent.
